FEATURE FRIDAY: Our Centre is home to a Feature Gallery where we present traveling exhibitions from museums across Canada. This Sunday, we are pleased to be launching our newest Feature Exhibit, A Call for Justice: Fighting for Japanese Canadian Redress (1977-1988), in partnership with the Regina Japanese Canadian Club. This exhibit is from Nikkei National Museum & Cultural Centre in British Columbia and will run until the end of December. A Call for Justice celebrates the ten-year struggle by Japanese Canadians to achieve an acknowledgment and apology for their treatment by the federal government during the Second World War. The RCMP Heritage Centre is the first Canadian venue to host this traveling exhibit since its official launch in 2013. rcmpheritagecentre/home/exhibits/feature-gallery
