FEATURE WRITING CONTEST Mechanics: 1. The contest is open to all SECONDARY LEVEL STUDENTS (public or private school of Oriental Mindoro). 2. Each school is entitled for 1 participant only. 3. The participant must be a son/daughter of ORMECO member and currently enrolled as secondary student. 4. Participant must be school journalist 5. The entry must be written in 8 1/2 x 11 (short bond paper), maximum of two pages, font: ARIAL, font size: 12, spacing: 6pt, line spacing: 1.5 6. Feature writing must emphasize the theme ANG ORMECO AY NAGLILINGKOD, KAAGAPAY SA PANG-UNLAD NG LALAWIGAN NG ORIENTAL MINDORO 7. The article will be judged according to the following criteria: relevance to the theme (40%), originality (30%), and consumer awareness (30%). 8. Interested parties may submit letter of intent to participate signed by his/her adviser or principal on or before NOV. 9, 2013 to any ORMECO MAIN/DISTRICT OFFICE nearest you. Participants may inquire or interview any ORMECO personnel that can be helpful for the said contest. 9. Winners will be announce on November 29, 2013 at ORMECO MAIN OFFICE. 10. Five (5) finalist will be chosen and the three (3) winning article will be chosen. A cash prize of 5,000.00, 3,000.00, & 2,000.00 will be given to the winners. The five finalist will receive Certificates of Participation. 11. The winning article will automatically become official property of ORMECO and will be published on ORMECO TANGLAW NEWSLETTER, 2013 last quarter issue. 12.
