SWEET & AFFECTIONATE These are just some of the comments made on the NYCACC intake and profile notes of young FELIX. He aced his behavior evaluation too, and volunteers also have wonderful things to say about this sprightly boy who needed an operation upon intake but has recovered well. Simply put, his irresistible charm is just too wonderful to ignore. On leash, he cuts a fine figure while trotting by other dogs with an endearing ease. Off leash in the backyard, he is a dashing athlete, scampering about and jumping on the bench with aplomb. Despite the drains placed in his chest to help with his medical condition, Felix is surprisingly active and curious; not only is he eager to check out the girl doggie next to his play pen but he loves to lean in for a snuggle. He isnt shy about trying to crawl up on your lap for even more intimate hugs! And treats seem to be his favorite thing at the moment, being a bit eager and sitting nicely for them when asked. His housetraining seems to be in order as he takes care of business soon after finding himself outside. So there you go, endorsed by the shelter & volunteers too. Reserve him on the ACC portal if you wish to adopt & can get to the shelter yourself within 48 hours. If not, click on his picture now & get help in pulling him from there.
