FELLOW CHRISTIANS OF OTHER CHURCHES! I am reposting this important video for all the Christians I know who go to New Hope, etc.. Please be aware of how angry the mob is opposing Marriage Equality and relay the message to your congregation to help maintain peace. (WATCH VIDEO AT 14:15) Yesterday, the press conference with supportive clergy for SB1 HD1, as you see in the video, was surrounded by opponents. To de-escalate any further tension, Fr. Walter Brownridge led the supporters to sing Amazing Grace as other supporters held hands in a circle to establish a safe zone. As you can hear in the video, an opponent screams at Father Walter that he and the rest are ministers of satan. After our clergy sang, a young man pushed a female priest from St. Clements to the ground. There are other confirmed reports of opponents spitting at peaceful supporters and verbally and physically assaulting them. I was at the Capitol all day and I can say that the opponents instill a constant feeling of threat for all supporters with their screams and chants that DO NOT STOP. This is not what Jesus would do and it will get worse if we do not come together in peace regardless of our political beliefs. Enough hurt has been done. Lets start the healing process and prevent violence. PLEASE HELP. There is no excuse for violence in the name of God. vimeo/78802416
