FENCING TIPs: Lateral Squat Gives a stretch to the adductors of the groin, abductors of the hips and improves hip range of motion. With hands on the head, feet wide apart, squat low to one side while the other leg stays straight, and the torso stays upright. Switch sides every few seconds. Variation: lunge sideways into the same position as the lateral squat. Then bring the feet together and repeat lunge for 10 meters and change direction. Discover more in our new book.
