FET Engineering Inc. of Bardstown, Kentucky has an immediate opening for a Tig/Mig Welder Fabricator to develop, troubleshoot and design custom automotive tooling. The Fabricator works with nickel and other metals. A minimum of two (2) years’ experience in welding and fabrication, with five (5) years’ experience highly desired.) Also highly desired is a minimum of 2 years’ experience in automotive tooling and die fabrication as well as reading blue prints to fabricate parts and use of mechanical measuring tools to ensure accurate product design. This position will pay between $14.00 - $16.00 per an hour based on skills and experience. This is a full time job, 40 hours per week Monday through Friday, with minimum over time. Travel is required about 25% of the time, including travel to Japan and Canada. If the candidate selected does not have a current passport, FET will pay for the passport. All candidates must have clean driving record. Drug screen and post offer physical will be required and paid for by FET.
