FIDV Young Leaders: FLYWHEEL Fundraiser a Great Success A special thanks to all of you who came and rode at FLYWHEEL on December 9 to raise critical funds for Friends of Israel Disabled Veterans. Your participation inspires us all! The monies raised will have a positive impact on the lives of the recently wounded soldiers of Operation Protective Edge, and will help them as they begin the long process of recovery, rehabilitation, and building new lives. Jake Pereg, one of the FIDV Young Leaders, noted in an email, “Great event last night! Pretty sure it was the hardest thing Ive ever done, but charity isn’t supposed to be easy I guess.” The Young Leaders are planning more events for the coming months, including the January 29, 2015 Winter Gala at the Tribeca Rooftop.
