FIFA world location should be given to countries that already big stadiums.Awarding to countries like South Africa has caused and is causing drainage in their economy and putting record monies in FIFAS bank accounts.....Brazil should have never been awarded and this is why the population is revolting against the present government .Great to have the w/cup in 2014 in Brazil ...there is too many illegal payoffs and what happened in South Africa and those beautiful stadiums after the World Cup they are empty.In Brazil those billions of dollars went to rebuilt Maracana and new stadiums in many major cities and meantime the basic needs of poor people education and health has been ignored.Many cities started to raise prices services like public transportation.Majority people in Brazil use public transportation....taxes in Brazil are very high and they get very little in return....going to the World Cup everyone should think twice for their safety.Example,former president Lula has been investigated now because they found out that he embezzled million dollars and of course his money is in Swizerland and who negotiated the World Cup he did.Again, the World Cup brings a lot buzz and publicity must be awarded to countries that have those facilities or maybe we should abolish the WOrld Cup and get ready of FIFA fat cats that run this organization..... This major people demonstration in Brazil will get worse.Thats an opinion of one person that lived in Brazil.Many Brazilian will disagree with me but go ask them if they feel safe to ride public transportation.There have been women who got raped in buses during day time.Those stadiums security will be surrounded by military personnel with machine guns.
