Hymn Written By: Horatius Bonar Praise the Lord!! Every hour of every day! It is so very important to return to the simplicity of the Faith. That is to desire fellowship with the Lord Jesus-- Who loved us and gave Himself for us. So many today are pursuing their own dreams and goals and do not have a deep desire to fellowship with the Lord. They do not open up the Bible. They do not pray and seek His face. They have forgotten their zeal of when they first got saved. The zeal to grow close to Jesus. Yet our bible says that our help cometh from the Lord. He is our Refuge. He is our peace, our joy, our strength. He is our Shield, our Defender. Yet so many Christians are looking everywhere but to Him. May we ever desire to be close to Him. May we cling to Him-- Who is our life! Only Jesus can satisfy the longing of our hearts. We are to look to the Lord and Him alone for strength. In every hour of every day...may our prayer be: "I need Thee, O Lord" Psalm 21:13 Be thou exalted, LORD, in thine own strength: so will we sing and praise thy power. Jeremiah 9:23-24 Thus saith the LORD, Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, neither let the mighty man glory in his might, let not the rich man glory in his riches: But let him that glorieth glory in this, that he understandeth and knoweth me, that I am the LORD which exercise lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness, in the earth: for in these things I delight, saith the LORD.
