FINAL GAME SUMMARY: In a classic Friday night clash the Knights find a way to come out victorious winning by a score of 6-4! The first period saw the Knights up 2-0 with two quick goals from Christian Dvorak and Michael McCarron! They would carry this momentum into the second. In the second frame penalty trouble did not phase them as Michael McCarron scored two more completing the hat trick one of which came shorthanded. However, Kyle Platzer would score in the last minute making it 4-1 going into the third. The final stanza was extremely hectic and had a little bit of everything. Kyle Platzer ripped a wrister 1:16 into the period cutting the lead to two but the Knights would respond as Matt Rupert roofed a shot on a breakaway chance all created by Mitch Marner blocking an Attack slapshot. Owen Sound would push for a comeback though as Jaden Lindo and Jonah Gadjovich would score two consecutive goals making it 5-4 for the guys with 5:50 remaining. The boys wouldnt have any doubts though as Mitch Marner would bang home a Christian Dvorak pass with 1:09 left to extinguish the comeback attempt. Final score 6-4 for the Knights! Things began to get heated in the last frame as multiple misconducts and fights took place on either side along with an abundance of goals.
