FINAL INFO ABOUT THE SABIC PICNIC AT BURDETTE Thank you to the Friday shift for the great job you did tonight! Also THANK YOU to all that stepped up to help tomorrow! We are now fully staffed for the 8-2 shift! We do, however still need 8 more people to work 2-8. If you can help with this, please let me know! A huge thank you to the 17 people who are working the entire 12 hour event!!! Some final reminders about tomorrow: 1. The parking area will be on the right just inside the entrance of the park in the soccer field. The parking area by the pool is reserved for pool patrons. The event company is expecting around 1400 visitors for the picnic besides the regular park traffic. 2. We will be in the pavilion by the main office. Just look for the inflatables. You need to check in with me when you get there. 3. Please allow extra time before your shift to get there. The parking area is quite a way from the pavilion. People working the 2-8 shift please be at the pavilion by 1:45 to make the shift change go smoothly. 4. Please wear either khaki shorts, capris or slacks (no cut-offs). Also please wear tennis shoes (no flip-flops) The event company will provide shirts that every volunteer must wear. These shirts must be returned at the end of the day, 5. Eat a good breakfast. They will provide an all you can eat lunch, but the break time may be determined by when there is a break in the guest line. 6. Our responsibilities include serving drinks, food and snacks, running the activity booths in the pavilion, running the registration running the bingo area (any experienced bingo callers?), supervision of the inflatable area and any other misc. job they assign us. 7. Bring sunscreen. There is no shade in the inflatable area. 8. Enjoy yourself and THANK YOU for supporting the band! If you need to contact me tomorrow, please text me at 812-449-3757.
