FINAL UPDATE - It is with a broken heart, shock, and disbelief that my beautiful, sweet and loving girl Noel crossed the Rainbow Bridge. Noel was only 5 years old. As many of you know she had a gastrointestinal issue that we were treating. She had spent yesterday at the Vets on IV fluids and came home . We were supposed to bring her back in this morning at 8:30 am. I became concerned with her breathing and we went to ACCESS and ER and is open 24/7 and has all the state of the art diagnostic machines and Specialists in several fields. When we arrived we were told she as critical and they began to work on her. The Specialist arrived and told us the big problem was she had aspirated in her lung and had Pneumonia. After several hours he told us we could see her (she was in an Oxygen case). They let us pet her, she looked up at me with her sweet eyes and we told her we would be back later. The Vet felt she was doing better. Evidently shortly after we left she went into cardiac arrest. We were called and turned the car around. They brought her back but the damage was done, her lungs couldnt work on her own and they werent sure about brain function. With only a 1% chance of recovery we decided to let her go. Before we could, my sweet Noel passed on her own. I think when we visited her she said her goodbye and when she knew we were ready she crossed the bridge to save us the decision. These are 2 of my favorite pictures of us. She loved me to hold her like that and would climb my legs to be picked up. My husband and I are devastated still cant believe she is gone,
