It shows a glimpse of Africas future. 7 - Helawi Sewnet: What was the single most impactful experience? The whole Mandela Washington Fellowship. I cannot rank any one thing. You can still communicate in the evenings. 9 - Helawi Sewnet - There are many follow on programs available for Fellows when they come back in Africa - internships, mentorships with USAID Africa 10 - Helawi Sewnet: Through the Mandela Washington Fellowship I made global connections... it energized me and inspired me to pursue my goals. 11 - Helawi Sewnet: the Mandela Washington Fellowship elevated my knowledge and professionalism. It provided an opportunity to experiment & learn different aspects.
