FINISHED WITH CHAPTER 1!! Book 1 of the series: The Magic From Elsewhere. prologue: Magic is said to be a myth, fake, just made up for show and amusement, That wizards, Mages and witches are just made up, there are people who grew up believing those words, that theyve been told but thats where theyre wrong, cause they do survive. When a kid says they believe in magic its like an electrical jolt of happiness to the world, but when the child starts to stop believing in magic, the world becomes a gloomy place. Through out time the number off people who believe in magic has been decreasing, but now this world is in a new era where magic is the new top notch business, In this world mages, wizards, and witches, all can live in plain sight taking in the aura of the magic all around them, peacefully, most of the time, but Every now and then a dark mage, wizard, or witch show their faces and try to take every ounce of belief in magic there is for themselves so they can grow stronger, but thanks to all the people who believe that good can concur all, there isnt a battle too big that can stop all the light mages that have come out from hiding and live to keep the balance of magic safe, stable, and pure. Chapter 1: How it all began. It was a normal day at Lakefall High, it was early in the morning so people were just arriving, the sun was shining high up in the sky, the clouds puffy, soft and as grace full as they could be in the sky, the air was warm and soft to the skin. A gentle breeze blew every now and then and then to keep that new day at its perfect level. As usual every kid had a mini group they belonged to sort of like a little click that makes them feel wanted, there were the jocks, they acted tough sometime, too tough, the preps, always yelling spirit! without the actual spirit, nerds, adorable and smart, also very funny, but always seem to get picked on for being that way, then theres the anti-socials and so on, then theres the click i belong to, after 3 months of being here i wouldve expected the group to be bigger but on the plus side im glad it still has all its former members, David, the guy who loves to train, such a hard worker. Kyomi, shes the small yet very fun, member of the group, Dorian, the big 63 giant of silence, and Me, Aimee, the smart, fun blonde, Oh and my pet bunny Chiery. It was almost 8:30 am and the first bell rung to signal the kids had 5 minutes to get to class, some ten, because their classes were all across campus, for a high school, thats pretty big. As Aimee walked to her locker a scream of joy could be heard from the other end of the hall heading her direction, at first the figure was a blur but when it came closer it was Kyomi being chased by fan boys screaming We love u, date us, be mine, be our queen. And even though it was not such a beautiful sight to see Kyomi run for her life Aimee could help but laugh however; She only got out a few chuckles before Kyomi ran into her and hid trying to catch her breath. As the mob of boys got closer Dorian stepped in the way between the girls and the mob, at his appearance the mob stopped, one guy even spoke out, Just who do you think you are, you cant have every girl in this school yaknow! Dorian still seemed to have his calm laid back look, his hands in his pocket his hair over his eyes and the straight line of lips across his face but then he suddenly broke the silence with his deep but very attractive voice that made almost every girl in his radius faint, I dont and nor do i want too, but Aimee and Kyomi are friends, mess with either of them and youll answer to me for the rest of the year. he turned his head slightly to face the girls and nodded and then walked off. As he walked away Aimee stepped out the way to her locker So when are you gonna fend for yourself when a mob of guys runs at you more life threatening chocolate? she said with sarcasm in her voice finally getting into her locker, Kyomi smirked her because of her strong dislike towards sarcasm when its being used against her Maybe next time ill fend them off with those pictures we took at the beach last summer. she stuck out her tongue smirking at Kyomis response Aimee shut her locker and held her math books in her left arm placing her right hand on her hip, Go ahead cause at least i can fend them off on my own, and dont have to use someone else to help. after that statement she headed off to class. It was around fifth period when the smell of smoke filled the air, but the smoke wasnt just any ordinary type of smoke it was thicker and darker and smelt worse than any other. Suddenly the alarm had gone off signaling the students and teachers to evacuate the are ASAP, a majority of the students made it out of the building but before the rest could the part of the building Aimee and Kyomi class was had a science lab that exploded multiple times sinding that part of the school and the mysterious gas on fire. As fire and more smoke filled the halls Aimee and Kyomi came out of the room surrounded in a ball of air thanks to Aimee, How did u do that?! Kyomi leaned against the wall. I dont know i panicked, what about all these people, we cant just leave them. another explosion went off causing the school to shake knocking Kyomi and Aimee down, and Aimee to lose her focus on the sphere around them. Well i dont know what to do... taking in the air cause they couldnt hold their breaths for that long, and when they let up the smoke started to fill their lungs causing them to cough, at that moment a dark shadow was coming out of the smoke, as the figure got closer the smoke that was around them pushed aside as if they were controlling it to clear a path and stopped as she reached the girls, Hurry up and get up, we dont have all day if you. The figures hair was a light shade of pink but in the smoke and fire it appeared to be red. Her eyes were a dark pink and her appearance was calm but only on the outside as far as Aimee could tell. Well im not staying here any longer, and if they have those guys taken care of then we shouldnt worry. she got up off the ground helping up Kyomi and started to follow the girl out. As the school stood in flames and the students watched as the fire department put it out as much as they can, before they new it the school was about to be shut down for months for reconstruction, and thats when things started to change.
