A strong...Hot and dry surface thermal trough will creep into the east slopes of the cascades on monday promoting the potential for plume dominated fire behavior. As the thermal trough continues to migrate eastward monday night and tuesday an incoming low pressure will promote increasing thunderstorm activity from southwest to northeast across all districts. Abundant lightning is possible starting monday evening in the cascades and spreading into the idaho panhandle by tuesday evening.
