Their facility is located on the sugar white sands of the Gulf of Mexico on the west end of the beach. This is a quiet, uncrowded area of the beach which helps to provide the proper spiritual climate for ministry. Accommodations include: Dorm Style Rooms with Double bed and several sets of bunkbeds. There are NO LINENS, so you must bring your own unless you want to rent a set of linens for $5/per set(includes sheets, towels and pillow) Most rooms will sleep up to 10. They now live in the beautiful hills of Tennessee near their nine grown children and over 40 grandchildren. The Campbell family has a legacy of six generations following the Lord, and their children are carrying on this legacy of faith and are doing an excellent job in raising their own families. Colin and Nancy have been ministering to families for over 37 years. The ministry frequently includes traveling and speaking all over the United States, Europe, and around the world, encouraging fathers and mothers in their biblical roles. By applying Gods word to every area of family life, they help to strengthen the Christian home and promote family unity. They teach on restoring the family altar, the family meal table, biblical roles for men and women, passing on the faith to the next generation, and creating a home atmosphere that glorifies God and impacts many for His kingdom. At the Gulf Coast Families Conference, you will have a chance to learn from the Campbells decades of experience and will have an opportunity to meet many other like-minded Christian families. The weekend will be a powerful time of equipping and encouragement for all those present. Special EVENTS In addition to the teaching, there will also be times for games and activities for the whole family. There will be many special events at this conference, including an ice cream social Friday night, a Family Talent show on Saturday night (each family is welcome to bring music or comedy to share with the group) and a special Shabbat meal to bless the fathers, mothers, and children led by the Campbells. During all the sessions of the retreat, mothers helpers will be available to assist with babies and toddlers, so parents can get the full benefit from the sessions. Any teens willing to help with the younger ones during a session would be a huge help. Free Family PORTRAITS We are going to have a professional photographer, Hartman Photography, at the retreat that is offering to do family beach portraits during the weekend. The cost will be DONATION ONLY, made payable to Above Rubies ministry to help publish the next magazine. If you are wanting to have your family portrait made, you will need to sign up for an appt time at the retreat as well as bring appropriate clothing you would want to have your family wearing in the photo.
