FIRST of all, a HUGE THANK YOU to everyone who continues coming to the studio during the road construction at Rtes. 21 & 137. We understand what a huge hassle it can be and are appreciative beyond words for your continued patronage & support. ♥ SECOND...The work seems to be moving at an accelerated pace and were told that all lanes of traffic will be open by the end of 2013. (fingers crossed!) THIRD...in case you werent aware, theres a construction project website where you can see what changes are coming up & adjust your driving plans accordingly. The website is il21and137/ and this is the latest post: October 25, 2013 Project is now 72% complete. Anticipate that the traffic shift to the outer lanes on both IL21 and IL137 will occur around November 7 to accommodate median and pavement construction. Concrete placement for miscellaneous bridge, walls and sidewalk at the bridge location is continuing. Work is also continuing on sidewalks, landscaping and traffic signals. Expect to reopen the dog park by late November.
