FIVE days until transplant and counting!!!! Fewer updates is certainly not due to lack of progress! We will update more frequently as Transplant Day nears. Yes, it is an official day in our home!! :) Our family, and our donors family, has been preparing for this life-changing day spiritually, emotionally and physically. Raleigh spent the day serving as a mentor while my Mama and I cleaned like mad women to prepare our home for Raleigh, post-transplant...even refrigerator ABC magnets are sanitized thanks to Delaini, our 4 year old! Brandy and I have been responding, hourly, to those who have reached out to us on Facebook and callawaysangels. We are doing all we can to begin sharing the personal stories of others in need of a kidney transplant, as well as the earthly angels who have given the gift of a living organ donation. Brandy has already taken photos of the first person we will feature that is in need of a kidney transplant, and I have their personal story and plea written and ready to share! It goes without saying that our donors story will be the first living donor story that is featured! Both of our families are counting down the days to transplant, and we know and trust that Gods timing and plan is perfect. Please continue to pray for our families...
