FLO Leaders, Ladies and Gentlemen, we have searched far and wide, for an Inspirational Leader, a Role model, a proven Achiever, a Female President, for our Female Leadership Organization, and now, finally, we have Found the Perfect Leader to take this Organization from strength to strength! We introduce to You, dear FLO Leaders, our President elect of the Female Leadership Organization, Ilirjana Shehu! (Like, Share, Reply, make some noise, let’s hear it for our President, who will Lead us to make a Positive Change in Female Leadership Worldwide!) A short history lesson on Ilirjana, who is the most humble Leader we have certainly come across, someone whom we can all really look up to! Ilirjana Shehu has been a major Croatian representative in Kosovo for 14 years. As the former head of the Pristina office of the Croatian Chamber of Commerce, she is amongst the most influential people in the new country, largely thanks to her works in the exports of Croatian companies which rose to €500 million, with even further positive trends. Her father was a historian, and her Uncle Riza Sapunxhiu was amongst the leading politicians in Yugoslavia in the 1980’s. Thanks to him, Ilirjana Shehu met Stipe Mesic, then, a member of the Presidency of Yugoslavia, and in 1995, through this introduction and her Leadership persona, Ilirjana was a parliamentary candidate on the list of the Croatian Independent Democrats. When NATO expelled the Serbian government, Ilirjana returned to Kosovo with American experts, where they were investigating war crimes. Ilirjana was then appointed as the manager of the first multiparty elections. Our new President then took over as the CCC representative in Pristina, and has since represented the interests of the most powerful Croatian companies in a new country with a population of over 2 million people. Just a few of her accomplishments include: – Bringing more than 150 key Croatian companies to Kosovo; – Creating more than 10,000 employment opportunities for Kosovars and Croats; – Lobbying in gaining international and local tenders worth more than €500 million; coordination of more than €100 million in various investments in Kosovo, Albania and Macedonia. Our new President’s work experience has contributed to an excellent grasp of coaching, mentoring, and facilitation techniques, along with sound decision-making skills, integrity, zest for challenge, and outstanding negotiating abilities! Being a multi-lingual, she is adept at communication, with excellent consensus and coalition-building skills! During our new President’s leadership-driven career, she has proven her ability to deliver measurable results! So, FLO Leaders, Ladies and Gentlemen, make some noise and welcome our new President, Ilirjana Shehu! Female Leadership is in Our Hands! Yes we Can! Yes We Will!
