Westhope...And willow city minor to major flooding is occurring and is expected to continue. .A significant amount of runoff generated by heavy rainfall last weekend created a substantial increase in storage at both alameda dam and lake darling. Releases from alameda dam and lake darling have increased and will remain at increased flows into next week. This will cause minor to major flooding on the souris river downstream of lake darling. Runoff from heavy rainfall over the willow creek basin continues to enter willow creek. This combined with the back water effect from the increasing flow on the souris river has caused willow creek to reach minor flood stage.
