FLOODING IN MALAWI Days of heavy rains have resulted in widespread, severe flooding throughout the African nation of Malawi. Many congregations of our sister synod, the Lutheran Church of Central Africa-Malawi, have been deeply impacted and affected by these floods, which have destroyed crops, homes, and lives. To help our Christian brothers and sisters in Malawi, aid is being organized through WELS Christian Aid and Relief and some funds have already been sent.
