FLYING AWAY This song describes communion in the the upper realms, in the angelic hierarchies. Some souls are described, perhaps even judged, as dreamers, or as eternal children, but the experience of the eternal child at a core level is not quite that. As a pure aeternus myself, the feeling is a connection to God that we bring with us into incarnation. As such, we carry the seed of the Divine child... the magical child... the capacity to see the Divine in all things, and to re-awaken others to that original state through art, healing, transmission and spiritual charisma. It brings with it a capacity to see the unseen worlds beyond, and the cause behind the cause... the real behind the apparent. There is actually an historical issue here; beyond religious creed, for all of mankind, exists the etheric Christ which pre-dates the historical Jesus...its that experience in consciousness which is a bridge between Divine intention, and the human condition. Its there within us all, waiting to be activated. The psychological correspondent to this spiritual paradigm is what we understand as Self awareness... awareness of the true, eternal Self within. This is the liberation and homecoming that we crave in our soul. The historical Jesus had a unique fate, he was an individual with no karma to work out. Jesus then fully inhabited the Christ when he was baptised by John aged 30; a cosmic event of extraordinary proportions. Then he became Jesus of the Christ. The Christ impulse is Dharma; enlightenment. Moses, Abraham and Mohammad were of the Christ. Christ does not mean Christian... it is not sectarian. It is known by many names... not just the Christ impulse. It is known as Love, Truth, the Dao, the Way, many things... it is there in the 99 names for God in the Sufi tradition. It is the Kabbalistic Tree of Life. What we are talking about is the ability to recognise and commune at any time with the voice of the Higher Self within. Ones truth and purpose is to be found there, at all times. It is instinct, but beyond instinct; it is intuition, but beyond intuition; it is kindness but beyond kindness. It is infinite Love, wisdom & mercy, and it lies within. No doctors are needed for this once it is activated, no police, no teachers... no guru. There is no dogma attached to it. Christ is simply the name of that cosmic energy in creation which allows us to commune with the Divine. One does not need a church, mosque or synagogue to find the inner Christ, only the spiritual heart. If that simple truth were more widely available, and if Self-awareness was taught in schools, the religious divisions we have would begin to dissolve.
