FMP - FACEBOOK - FORUM PAGE - 09/07/2014 AND UPDATE. Jools Foy 23.01 Some time in June I think it was Non conformist records were released and it was reported on these pages (cant find it now, so much has happened) by another poster and myself that in some of the Welsh baptism records the parish record covered two pages yet we can only view one and there is no browse button to get to other page. The second page shows, parents names, fathers profession and address so very important to researchers. You said you would pass it on to the team. As of tonight the problem remains. Example Edward Davis baptised 1832. Fathers name Morris, County Denbighshire. Elizabeth Vinci, Louise Quigley and Paul Kinsey like this. Findmypast Hi Jools, were looking into this for you. Please bear with us while we investigate. Thanks! 1 hr ago Jools Foy Furthermore, regarding the above example who is my direct ancestor, his is the only record that FMP finds, there should be five, each over TWO pages. Family Search found them easily (what joy) albeit one is mistranscribed. I also found easily on BMD Reg...See More 2 hrs ago Caroline ONeill Is some of the group (not Elizabeth)? Found by using the B&B page from All Collections and filtering using conform, using your search paramters selecting the appropriate record set and then by parish in the optional keywords when I spotted the parish for Edward. search.findmypast.co.uk/.../england-and-wales-non... 2 hrs · Edited Caroline ONeill - The name is Maurice for a couple of them. 2 hrs ago Philip Mustoe Caroline, Im sure your information is helpful, but it doesnt change the fact that only one of the two pages is accessible. Ive an ancestor, Martha DAVID, daughter of Salmon DAVID baptised at Llanboidy, Carmarthenshire in 1834. This page suffers the same problem (Batch RG4/4023). I want to view the second page because it provides a whole load of useful information, and I need to be able to see that. I cant. I too notified FMP of this some weeks ago and nothing has changed. In fact, I highlighted a problem of some census pages back in April and theyve not been fixed yet either. 1 hr · Edited ago Jools Foy Thanks Caroline, I know. My criteria was to enter no first name so wouldnt make a difference anyway I see you have included the church in optional keywords, I didnt know where they were baptised until I found them all on Family Search, most people dont wouldnt you agree? When I removed that from your search I got over 5,000 hits. Have you tried searching with my criteria? All search paths should yield same results imho. 1 hr ago Caroline ONeill Well no, I cant help with the missing page views and of course wasnt even suggesting that!! Just thought it would help Jools to show that it is in fact possible to find her Davis family. 1 hr ago Caroline ONeill Did you actually try to reproduce my search as described? You can see from the link what the criteria were- I did not put a first name in at all, I used your criteria and I added the church after I saw where Edward was from in the results. Since I did not use Morris anywhere in my search then the Maurices came up. 1 hr ago
