FOCUS MONDAY Brightening your day by introducing you to new music that will be appearing at FOCUS Wales April 2015. This week we are shining the light on Coasts Hailing from Bristol 5-piece are proving to be a band constantly on the up, owing to a growing catalogue of music thats earning praise amongst the online community & beyond, including Oceans which is on over 4 million plays on the their soundcloud alone. Non-stop touring, including a smash set at Radio 1s Big Weekend, the band have just announced a headline show at the SCALA in London – their biggest venue to date. A Rush of Blood, lead track from EP of the same name, was premiered as Zane Lowe’s Hottest Record on Radio 1 with Zane calling it “absolutely huge”. It has since had widespread R1 support especially from Huw Stephens who will be returning to FOCUS Wales 2015, who recently had them in for a Maida Vale session, as well as further Zane spins. Fresh off the back of being chosen as one of iTunes bands to watch, next year is set to be a big one for Coasts, with an extensive US tour and two renowned festivals already confirmed, their debut record is set to come out in the summer 2015.
