FOCUS ON THE FUTURE “Let thine eyes look right on, and let thine eyelids look straight before thee.” (Proverb 4 : 25) The society at large is filled with distractions and one requires strong decision and discipline to aim at a major purpose in life in order to succeed academically and in life generally. Friends, television programmes, leisure, and other social gatherings could become a major source of diversions. You must determine not to allow such distractions. This focus is the key that guarantees good performance and excellent success at the end of every level of academic pursuit. To be focused you must be firmly determined to succeed in spite of all odds and obstacles. It is also being set in ambition and settled in purpose for future success. To have a focus as a student, you must have an ambition. To achieve your goal, proper planning is required. Your time table should give enough time for studies, eating, house chores, fellowship and of course rest. More importantly one needs discipline, dedication and a positive mindset to actually follow the timetable. Finally, you must avoid laziness, procrastination and distractions.
