**FOLLOW ME. I am always posting awesome stuff!** ¯`☆¯)¸.❉´¯) •• (¸☆´ (¸.☼´´¯`•.¸¸.❉ Okay!! I know I have some crafty friends here!! So here ya GO!! Tricycle Diaper Cake!! Items Needed 27 diapers per wheel (total of 81 diapers) 5 quart stock pot or 9” pie/cake pan 3 large rubber bands 1 regular rubber band 2 bibs 2 receiving blankets 1 angled baby bottle 1 pair of baby socks Ribbon Yarn Directions Add diapers one at a time to pan/pot, overlapping each about 1 inch, tucking in toward the center. You may need to straighten them out a little. Gently remove from the pan and placing the rubber band around them to secure them in place. Once you have them out, you may need to smooth them out again, centering the rubber band. Make a circular opening in the center (using your fist) then add your ribbon around the rubber band securing it every 3 inches or so with double stick tape. Repeat this 2 more times so that you have 3 tires. Lay out a receiving blanket and add a length of yarn down the center. This will need to be fairly long to go through the center of all 3 tires (36” should be sufficient). Roll the blanket up tightly around the yarn. Lay out the other receiving blanket and roll it up as well (no yarn). Stand 2 of the tires side by side, these are the back tires. Using the blanket with the yarn in the center, drive it through the opening you created with your fist. Place the third tire slightly between the two with the blanket. This creates the front tire. Pull just the yarn through the front tire to complete the circle. Tie securely and trim the yarn. Lay the baby bottle in on top of the front tire with the angled end placed securely between the tires. Use the second receiving blanket to feed through the opening on the front tire and pull it up over the bottle. Secure the blanket with a rubber band and tie with ribbon. Add the bibs, one facing forward, the other facing backward creating a tire guard and seat. Fold the ends of the receiving blanket down to create the handle bars. Use the socks to create grips. And there you have an awesome baby shower gift that’s filled with essentials and sure to be loved!!
