FOLLOWERS OF AMMANI SCHOLARS There is a group people whose declared aim and mission in life is to oppose Wahhabi / Salafi beliefs. They write books, contribute on Internet forums / groups / pages exposing the deviant beliefs of Wahhabis. At the same time they follow scholars and Shuyooks (like Nazim Haqqani, Shaikh Jifri, Hamza Yousef. etc.) who have signed Amman Message which testifies that Wahhabis / Shias / Kharijis are true Muslims. Not only that, they also testify that even Christians and Jews are believers just like Muslims. When Amman Message is mentioned to these people, they avoid a directly reply and prefer to keep quite. And they do not openly declare if they follow Amman Message or not. When we insist them to declare their belief about Amman Message, they get angry and start accusing and abusing. WHAT DOES THIS MEAN ? It means - in their hearts they have accepted Amman Message as truthful Islamic belief. They have accepted Wahhabis / Shias / Kharijis as truthful Muslims. And they have accepted King Abdullah II of Jordan as Khalifa e Islam. But they do not want to talk about it openly? This is double standard, known as hypocrisy (Munafeqat). This is not good for themselves, neither it is good for general Muslims who trust them. We fail to understand they are afraid of whom? They should clearly state their beliefs and declare that they are Ammanis (followers of Amman Message) so that people know who they are.
