FOOD + ARCHITECTURE!! As we mentioned previously, this weekend is the AIA Indy Architects Home Tour and LANCER + BEEBE has a home on the tour. As an added bonus to tour-goers, our good friends at Black Market restaurant on Mass Avenue have created something special for this weekend. The Carrot Cake House is a limited-availability dessert, inspired by the architecture of the IndyMod home and the Cottage Home Historic Neighborhood. Made with locally-grown carrots (Big City Farms adjacent to Cottage Home), the dessert features butternut-squash-carrot cream and candied carrots. When you see the IndyMod home you will instantly see how Chef Micah Frank has represented the architecture through this pastry! The dessert will be available on Saturday only (Black Market is closed on Sunday) for $6, or $3 with the purchase of a beverage. Black Market will have several suggested drink pairings.
