FOOD FOR THOUGHT Several weeks ago I was driving home late after work. Suddenly the Lord asked me a question. He said, Suppose you get home and upon your arrival you gather your children and announce to them that the very next day you are taking them to Disneyland in America to have fun. What will be your childrens reaction?I answered, They will rejoice, hug me, thank me, start packing their bags and call up their friends to tell them. He said, Will they ask to see the USA visa? I said, No. He continued, Will they ask to see the air ticket? I replied, No. He asked again, Will they ask to see their passports? I replied, No Lord. A typical child wouldnt ask any of these questions because of the trust and confidence they have in me as their daddy. Then He said, You are human. You have the potential to lie and yet at your word your children are ASKING NO QUESTIONS, are also REJOICING and THANKING YOU even though they havent even started the journey with you yet! Why do my people wait until they see their hearts desire made manifest before they thank me? That is why I have said in my Word that until you turn and become like little children you cannot see my power demonstrated in your life! Son, just as the Ethiopian cannot change the colour of his skin nor the leopard its spots (Jer 13: 23), so it is IMPOSSIBLE FOR ME TO LIE. MY VERY NATURE CANNOT LIE. TRUTH CANNOT LIE. This encounter was a great eye opener to me and has positively impacted my walk with the Lord since then. If you think this real life story has also impacted your life share with others.
