FOOD FOR THOUGHTS: FAITH IN YOUR FAITH: (Daniel.3:16-25). It is of paramount important to have faith in your faith because this is the law of success in the realm of the spirit. You live in the Word and the Word lives in you (Jesus said if you abide in me, and my word abides in you, you shall bare much fruits), Jn.15:7; Amos 5:4. The Word of God will radiate the light of God through you; and God shall use you as a channel of grace through which He can reach his people in truth. After all, faith makes prayer work not the other way round. Indeed, if you have faith in your faith God will always perform his miracles in your life. Cf. Daniel.4:4, as you proclaim his word boldly. Romans.4:18-21. WHAT FAITH DOES FOR YOU 1.It provides a firm anchor to walk on or lean upon God, irrespective of all odds. 2.It helps you not to look back, but walk on with God in the light of the Word- the Emmaus walk Luke and his companion. Lk.24:13-32; Mk.16:12-13. 3.It encourages you to invite God daily to stay with you, which he does! 4.It enables you to always have a guider in your journey through life obstacles. Ex.13:21-22 ; Job. 29:3. 5.You will always have an advocate which is the Holy Spirit/ defender/ protector. Ps.121; 1 Sam. 24:15. 6.You will receive the gift of righteousness as does Abraham who trusted God in faith without wavering. 7.It gives you the ability to stand in God’s presence without carnal fear or shame of your past misdeeds, because your sins have been cancelled through the blood of Christ.Eph.2:8-9 ; Mk. 16:16-18 ; Num.14:7-9, especially in chapter 8 and in Ezekiel 33:18-19. 8.If you act on the Word. God will become real to you. 9.You will abandon yourself to the Lordship of the Word. 10.God will express Himself through you. 11.Self will diminish if you take a back seat and Jesus will be lifted high in your life. Mt.16:24-25. 12.God will be the central focus in your life. Phil.1:21.(Not I who live but Christ who lives in me). 13.There will be order in your surroundings, no spiritual chaos whatsoever in your life. 14.Remember God is peace, calm and a good organizer and planner! 15.You will have love for everyone around you and you will be bursting with enthusiasm to generate this love in all your circles. Prov.10:12 and 1 Jn. 4:16. 16.The love law is the very environment of God so if you love not you weaken your faith because GOD IS LOVE. 17.Patience will be your middle name. Isaiah. 28:16-17. 18.It gives you hope to hang in there and wait patiently for the Lord to act on your behalf. 19.You will wait because you’re too sure of your God who never fails. 20.Hope is linked to faith by perseverance in the knowledge that God’s timing is always perfect. Romans.4:18. 21.Wisdom to cope with all the above and to do it right and well without involving sin in words, thoughts, or in deeds. ENEMIES OF FAITH: This part shall be dealt with on another series!
