Think canned tomato sauce, produce or herbs from your garden, backyard eggs, soup, granola, popsicles, pickles, or foraged berries. Heres how the Atlanta Food Swap works: We meet at the Warhorse coffee shop at The Goat Farm ( 1200 Foster St. Atlanta, Georgia 30318 ). Please park on the grass along the paved entrance. Everyone is welcome! Just make sure the items brought to trade are something you made, grew or foraged for. Prepackage things like granola, cookies, berries, any small items in ziplocks or something of the like for easy trading. We usually trade one package/ item for another. For example, one canned food for one pack of cookies. If there are lots of people, we use bid sheets. They have your name and what youve brought written on them with spaces for others to write offers. The bid sheet is placed next to your items so that you can walk around and try other food. To trade, people either write what theyd like to trade you for on your bid sheet or they may even come straight to you. Both approaches are totally fine and you can trade at any time.
