FOR ANYONE THAT HAS BEEN FOLLOWING Heidi Beatrices journey from Houston until now here is an album with photos from the beginning to present day..the update is long..but you can see the pups individually as they were being photographed at the vet less than 24 hours after their birth..please tag anyone you know that had anything to do with helping these precious souls..Deb 979-279-6388: here is the update:Heidis journey began the weekend before December lst 2014..she was in Harris county and it became evident to Robin Weill and myself that nothing was going to be pulled together in time to save her and her pups which she had over sunday night ..so on Monday December lst (we worked on a plan all night Sunday night and into earlymonday morning)..we got her out of there with puppies in tow..this is their journey so far for those following this girl..the pups are now ten days old and they are all alive and thriving so far..anyone that has worked with young pups know that can change in a heartbeat, but so far so good..It is apparent to her foster and myself that no one ever took time with this girl to teach her anything so she is now in Heidi boot camp..we have a heavy duty kennel that was donated by one of my amazing folks Lisa Culbertson, and of course Heidi is not really happy about her new routine..but she will get the hang of it..I have tried to document her journey from start until today, December 10th because so many people were following her..there was a youcaring link set up for her because people wanted to help..those funds are safe for her and these babies alone..so our Urgent animals are not suffering because we have taken them in..I appreciate everyones generosity to this momma and her pups and now it is our duty to make sure she becomes the adoptable dog that is in there..that will be able to go into a family situation and get the love that she deserves and needs in the future..I have training help from an outside trainer if we need to go that route..we believe she just needs a very strict routine so she knows exactly what is expected from her..as they all do really..I will update as this journey goes along..if you EVER HAVE ANY QUESTIONS ABOUT these babies or this momma please contact me directly at 979-279-6388..and please share out the other animals in need on our page..I do this adoption program for the other animals right out of an animal control facility in Robertson County, together we can save so many more lives..Deb 979-279-6388..
