FOR ANYONE WHO HAS EVER HAD A DREAM Everyone dreams at some point, right? To be famous. To be rich. We all dream to be the best at something. I find that every dream is missing something though. Sometimes its simply reality, leaving it trapped in the subconscious realm. Other times it may be doubt, trapping one from excelling. Well, my dream has the context of reality. Im in position and capable of success. Theres no doubt in my mind, body, or spirit that I have everything it takes to be the best. But what my dream is missing is the true OPPORTUNITY to manifest into the undeniable reality of becoming the best golfer in the world! Growing up, all I knew is that I wanted to play golf. I never really made the time for the social aspects of high school because I knew what I wanted to achieve and I knew what it required on my part to achieve it. As I found myself excelling, my dream grew into a passion. It was more than something I just saw myself doing; it was something I was willing to work at, so that I could be the best. I am currently a member of Suncoast Professional Golf Tour in Florida, where my goal is to play approximately 10 tournaments a year. I have four tournaments that I’d like to participate in before the year ends. I would also like to participate in the LET (Ladies European Tour) Qualifying School, which takes place this December in Morocco. However; this tour is only used as a stepping stone to my ultimate goal. I aspire to be a member of the LPGA (Ladies Professional Golf Association). I am currently taking steps to ensure I achieve these goals. Being on tour this year, I have learned some very valuable lessons in being resilient and persevering against all odds and I’m even more determined to reach my destiny. Although becoming an active Tour player on the LPGA is my ultimate goal, there are so many other things that I also want to achieve. I want to build a Boys and Girls Club in the city I grew up in. Growing up, I wished they had one. I made a promise to myself that if God ever allowed me the opportunity to build one that I would. I also have aspirations of becoming the founder of a Non-Profit Organization that works with grade school students. This organization would focus on introducing etiquette, healthy living, life skills, extra-curricular activities, sports, mentoring, tutoring, completing college applications and preparation, preparing for interviews and more. I have dreams of chapters being planted all over. I want to give others the same opportunities I had plus many more. Each one, reach one then teach one. The opportunity I spoke of is the only obstacle between my calling, my excellence and success. Im already working my way through, but I cannot do this alone. Who can I look to for a helping hand? Who will look the other way? Open the door with me, join my journey and lets all rejoice knowing weve all taken part in something great! Let our names live on! Lets be part of each other’s history! Write your chapter in my story! I should be in the position to help lead, inspire, and provide the missing elements in other women’s and young girls’ dreams. We can form a chain that pulls some of the greatest from the depths, but it starts with one link... Im reaching out to you, are you there? Then again, what if no one was?
