(July 23, 2013) – One of Southwest Florida’s newest additions, Alta Resources, which provides customer-related outsourcing solutions for global brands, many of them Fortune 100 companies, is creating more than 400 jobs at its Fort Myers location, Gateway Corridor at 12600 Gateway Blvd. To help fill those positions, Alta Resources is hosting a two-day Career Fair Wednesday, Aug. 7, noon to 7 p.m., and Thursday, Aug. 8, 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Jim Beré, chairman and chief executive officer at Wisconsin-based Alta Resources, recently noted that the company’s people have produced tremendous results on behalf of clients, with those results spurring growth such as program and facility expansion. Said Beré, “The addition of our Fort Myers location will create new job opportunities as well as support the growth in our Wisconsin, California and Philippines locations. We will ramp up Florida operations rather quickly, as the first training classes are scheduled to start in August and will continue every week between September and November.” Available positions include customer service and inbound licensed sales (health insurance) and range from English to English-Spanish bilingual, and from full to part time, with seasonally and permanent opportunities available.
