FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Local Filmmaker Starts Production Local Filmmaker, Rob Rock, has started production of a new film, Photography 101, along with Executive Producer Tanya Hilliker and several area actors. Tanya is a Kellogg Community College student currently studying photography. Photography 101 is a supernatural thriller that asks the question, "Does a camera have the ability to steal your soul"? Rob has 27 years of experience in filmmaking, including Second Unit Director of the feature length indie film I Flunked Sunday School; Rob is now directing Photography 101. Rob, Tanya, and the rest of the film crew will be filming in several Southwest Michigan locations. The city of Coldwater will be closing a section of a local street for part of the day, August 17th for filming. Plans are in the works to screen Photography 101 at several film festivals, with other possible area screenings. Rob and Tanya, like many independent filmmakers, are working with a very limited budget, if you would like to donate to their Indiegogo account at: indiegogo/projects/397918/wdgi/3140602, you can help these local filmmakers get closer to their goal, but don’t hesitate—funding ends August 12th. If you would like to help with the film but cannot donate financially, they are still in need of one actor for the role of a male college student. Interested actors should contact Rob or Tanya at: photo101movie@gmail. To learn more about Rock Hill Productions or watch the trailer go to robrock68.wix/rockhill.
