FOR MY TEACHER FRIENDS~ CONTACT: LADI TERRY (812) 219-4493 WHAT: TEACHER TUNE-UP AT THE CREATIVITY “GARAGE” WHEN: Tuesday, June 11, 2013 TIME: 8:30 AM-4:30 PM LOCATION: Ivy Tech at Liberty Crossing (2088 S Liberty Drive, Bloomington, IN) On Tuesday, June 11, 2013 Bloomington’s creativity training service SuccessWork! is partnering with Ivy Tech Bloomington’s Corporate College to offer a special training retreat for local educators. The “Teacher Tune-Up” is a great opportunity for educators to re-connect with their creative strengths and discover techniques for managing a successful classroom experience. Themed around a ‘repair day at the auto shop’ this retreat will meet at Ivy Tech Liberty Crossing and is divided into five focus areas which will cover everything from identifying causes of classroom breakdowns to discovering the many types of thinking preferences and how they impact the classroom environment. The Teacher Tune-Up Retreat will be led by creative action coach, SuccessWork! founder and author Ladi Terry, as well as special guest Jeff Olma -- “The IdeaDoctor” and professor of Creativity and English at Florida Community College at Jacksonville.
