**FOR PART LOAN ** 3 Days a Week ( can be very flexible with days/times, but I do like my Wednesday afternoons with him) To stay on current yard on the outskirts of Cardiff/The Vale, close to main roads and bus routes. Here we have our 16hh Cob X Warmblood, 9 year old gelding. Sky is a gentle giant, never kicks, rears, or bites, but he is known to shy at the silliest of things and he can be lazy and will try it on to avoid working if given the chance, so for these reasons he is NOT a novice ride! Once he gets going he will do any thing you want. He has hunted and show jumped in the past and he has done basic flat work training so is more than capable of doing what you ask of him. We bought Sky as we totally fell in love with him, but as I am a novice rider and less experienced with a larger horse, I do not have the confidence to give him a proper work out. He is a good medium weight carrier. Our main reason for loaning him out is for someone to give him an adequate amount of exercise each week as our Sky is a big porky lad and is on the wrong side of fit at the moment :-( He has a temperament to die for, loves a fuss and responds well to praise. We want someone to love him and have fun with him as we do :-) He is our pride and joy and we will only loan him to someone who is experienced, who will do him justice and respect him as well as us :-) We are asking for a contribution of £30 a week for the pleasure of loaning Sky and half of the farrier fees every 6-8 weeks. I am more than happy to carry out the everyday duties, mucking out/feeding etc, all I ask is 1. You exercise Sky 2. You look after his feet ( pick/check before and after work) 3. And you keep the yard tidy after yourself I would prefer you had your own riders insurance, but not essential if you are prepared to ride at your own risk. NO time wasters, NO novices, NO under 16s. Sorry for going on a bit, just trying to be as honest as possible. Please feel free to message me with any further questions you may have, and thanks for reading! :-) xxxx
