FOR SALE - 2006 VW TRANSPORTER. PLEASE SHARE. All good things must come to an end, so Im looking for interested parties to provide a good home to my van and good mate Vince. Ive had him for a bit over about a year and a half and have put a lot of work into making him a very comfortable wheeled hut. Specs are as follows: 2006 T5 2L petrol Transporter Central locking Tinted windows CD player with pioneer splits 80watt solar panel with 105 amp hour dual battery set up (professionally installed with receipts) 200 watt inverter with normal power point plug Waeco coolmatic caravan fridge with freezer Fully insulated with reflective insulation and foam Power windows, steering and mirrors Roof racks Set up with drawers and shelving 50L of water storage capacity Water carrier on roof rack Curtains (custom made by mumsy) The interior has been mainly done in silky oak and the removable table is Oregon pine. There is quite a bit of history in the timer alone here. Plent of storage down the side underneath the mattress for the less used items. There are 230000kms on him, but I have a roadside warranty that is still valid for another year and a half. He is smooth as eggs to drive if you dont try and drive like Dom Toretto. Surprisingly for the size its not too bad on juice. Averages around 10 or 11L to 100km around town and around 9 or even lower on the highway. Perfectly set up for a solo trip around oz or a weekend machine. Is small enough to not be too painful to drive in the city as well. With the mattress out, there is plenty of rooms to cart tools, music gear, dead bodies or any other bulky stuff around. I put a hell of a lot of thought and hours into this bloke to try and get it set up just right and I think I went pretty close. Im at the stage where I need some capital to move onto the next stage so this bloke sadly has to go. Im after as close to $16000 as I can get. Reasons why I should sell it cheaper expressed in interpretative dance, haikus and any obscure mediums will be given extra consideration. Got a few camping bits and pieces to through in if you,re keen. Im off overseas in February so a quick sale would be stellar.
