****FOR SALE****BRILLIANT little hunting horse! Chalky is a 15.3hh 5yo coloured Irish sport horse gelding. Super quiet, extremely mannerly and stands on a loose rein at the meet, plods down the road behind the hounds, waits politely to go at the back or very happy and settled to ride in the field. Great jumping round tiger traps, ditches, rails, brilliant over hedges and all trappy country. Would really look after a competent teenager, make a mannerly ladies or small gents hunter. Can currently be seen out hunting regular with the fernie. Chalky works nicely on the flat, is straight moving with a soft mouth and a lovely big trot, is responsive but quiet. Would easily go out and do a low level dressage test tomorrow. He is VERY quiet to hack, has been plodded round the roads by a total novice and is level headed in fields. Has been xc schooling and is incredibly easy and quiet to a fence. Chalky would be capable of top level riding club/low level eventing if a competent empathetic rider was to produce him, he is very capable of sj however is wary and spooky of coloured poles/fillers, is improving and becoming bravery every day but wouldnt be ready to compete sj tomorrow. Would either be ideal for a hunting/hacking home ready to go out now or to be produced over the winter for start of next season eventing and riding club! £3500 or reasonable offer!
