FORBIDDEN Only they thought they had closed my eyes And drawn the curtain For me their world had turned into a forbidden land Not that they did not try Nor that they did not cry I knew the tears were gentle And ready to dry away By and by...as the days passed by. Only they thought. Not I Now i was looking at every one and every thing with a winkless eye Never i slept after that Never intervened Just gazing Turned eyes all over.. Only that home was now forbidden for me So many people were witness..of my departure... Where had i gone Nowhere...
