FOREST GREEN ROVERS 2 WESTON-SUPER-MARE 2. : Weston-super-Mare gained a commendable draw at big spending Skrill Premier side Forest Green Rovers in a hastily arranged friendly on Friday night after both sides found themselves with a free weekend. The Gloucestershire side where in need of a confidence boost after a horrendous run of results had seen them lose Manager David Hockaday but if truth be told it was Weston who went closest to the Win and had Adam McHugh not made a stunning penalty save from Kane Ingram it would of been the Seagulls who would of emerged victorious. Ashley Kington gave the Visitors the lead on eight minutes with a finish from 30 yards before Reece Styche brought the sides level ten minutes before the Interval. Jake Harris restored Westons advantage on 60 minutes when he converted a Kane Ingram cross at the Backpost before Eddie Oshodi fired home in a Goalmouth scramble to again bring a full strength home side level. The Best chance either side had to win it came on 66 minutes when Bradley Ash was felled by Omar Koroma in the area but McHugh pulled off that top draw save to deny Ingram from the spot.
