(FORMED WITH PRESSURE) “And the LORD God formed man of the dust - TopicsExpress

(FORMED WITH PRESSURE) “And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground...” (Genesis 2: 7). In our Focal Scripture, God formed man. The word ‘formed’ as used in that scripture, is derived from the Hebrew word ‘yatsar’, which implies, ‘squeezing into shape’. So, God squeezed man into shape. When a thing is squeezed into shape, pressure is put on it to get the right shape. Squeezing involves a measure of pressure. So, while making the man who would dominate over His creation, God used pressure; while making the man through whom generations would come into existence, God used pressure; while making man what He wanted man to be, God used pressure; pressure was part of God’s raw material to make man. We often face pressures in our health, finances, career, business, family, marriage, etc. Sometimes, we prefer to run away from pressure; sometimes, we want God to take away or reduce the pressure; sometimes, we see pressure as the tool of the enemy. Friend, God says, the more the pressure, the more He will beat you into the shape He desires for you; the more the pressure, the more you will become more of what God wants you to be, the more you will become stronger and mightier, and the more God will teach you new things you couldn’t do in time past. Pressure isnt the devil’s strategy to pull you down; its God’s tool to take you up. Whenever you are under pressure, there is something new God wants to make happen in your life. Pressure is God’s vehicle to transit you to the next level; pressure is God’s way of cutting out what He does not want in you; pressure is God’s way of making you a better person. Don’t allow the enemy to put you in the wrong shape when youre under pressure; allow God to guide you in times of pressure, and He will make you what He wants you to be. Pray With Me: Lord, every pressure I face will make me better and stronger, in Jesus’ name! Have A Splendid Sunday.
