FORMER CORNELL STUDENT leads fight against the ACA! Rant #2020. God...I detest all those people and corporations who have dedicated their lives and energy to protecting the money of the wealthiest corporate entities in the world over the much needed help, care, treatment, livelihood, of THE PEOPLE! The lawyers, bankers, accountants, insurance company boardrooms, etc who spend their entire being on denying help to the needy are worse devils than the masters whom they serve.One of these is a lawyer from South Carolina named Thomas Christina who has appeared at Heritage Foundatioin events and American Enterprise Institute events. He is the South Carolina lawyer who initiated the current case regarding the wording of the ACA, recently decided by a 2-1 appeals court that the ACA cannot provide Federal tax credits to low income people buying insurance on the ACA Exchange Program if their state has refused to set up such an exchange. Complicated? Yes. But he has dedicated his practice to finding loopholes and tunnels in Government regulation of industry...regulations put in place on behalf of the PEOPLE. Christina is acting to increase profits for the corporate masters rather than increase health insurance coverage for the poor and middle class of America. What is worse is that Christina is a graduate of CORNELL UNiV. right here in my neighborhood. What he calls himself is an EMPLOYEE BENEFITS LAWYER...but what he DOES is....scour government regulation for ways to deny EMPLOYEES, workers, disabled workers, students, etc ...to deny benefits to THE PEOPLE in order that there might be increased profit and advantage to major corporate entities. The name of his practice should be EMPLOYER Benefits Law rather than EmployEE! In my opinion, he is a bloodsucker within an industry of bloodsuckers, liars, who are more dedicated to profit rather than the Constitutional Democracy within which they have thrived. The ultimate cost of their activities will be the DESTRUCTION of the ACA and eventually the demise of that Constitutional democracy which has nourished them. So sad. .I wonder if he had any Federal assistance back in the 70s while at Cornell...perhaps under President Jimmy Carter or Gerald Ford? I wonder. By the way...Thomas Christina got his doctorate from Harvard Law...Cum Laude....meaning with praise or with honor. I have to suggest he neither deserves nor possesses either. jgh
