FORT STEWART & HUNTER ARMY AIRFIELD INSTALLATION CLOSURE DUE TO INCLEMENT WEATHER: Due to forecasted inclement weather the following measures are effective on Fort Stewart-Hunter Army Airfield effective January 28, 2014. Personnel: -All Soldiers will be released from duty at 12:00 p.m., January 28, 2014. -DA Civilians and Contractors will be released at 12:30 p.m. All facilities and agencies will be closed with the exception to the following: -Commissaries will remain open until 1:30 p.m., January 28, 2014. -The Main Post Shoppette will remain open -Range Control (Minimal staffing) -Installation Operations Center (Minimal staffing) -DES Security Personnel Gates/Entry Control Points: -Normal gate operating hours will remain in effect until 4:00 p.m. -The following Fort Stewart Access Control Points will be open after 4:00 p.m. Gate 1 Gate 5 Gate 8 Gate 7c -The following Hunter Army Airfield Access Control Points will remain open after 4:00 p.m. Montgomery Gate, 24/7 Rio Gate, 6:30 a.m., and 2:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. Emergency Services (Fire and 911) will operate under normal conditions.
