FOX 7s Noelle Newton has obtained an exclusive interview with Meagan Work. Work is charged with tampering with evidence in connection to the death of her toddler son, Colton Turner. Coltons body was found in a southeast Austin field late last week. Noelle used whats called video visitation. She could see Meagan and Meagan could see her. Meagan was in the portion of the jail by her cell. Noelle says Meagan was soft-spoken and appeared just as the public has seen her in her mugshots. No better no worse. Meagan said that she was only supposed to speak with her attorney but she hung around, so Noelle told Meagan that FOX 7 has been covering the case and asked if there was anything she would want to tell the public. Megan said no everything I say gets turned around. Noelle says she didnt want to ask her about details of her sons death right off for fear she would end the conversation. Noelle says she asked her about Colton. Noelle says she asked her as a mother what it was like to know that she was going to miss her sons funeral while she was in jail. Meagan immediately hung up the phone and walked as quickly as she could back to her cell. The cell was in Noelles direct line of sight. Meagan shut the door and Noelle says she could see Meagan peering out of the window. Meagan did this several times.
