FQ Hi, I was wondering if anyone has ever baked cake in a jar and sent it to their deployed solider? Ive read numerous things about this. Most websites are from military wives who say they do it all the time and never have any problems. Some articles warn not to do this because bacteria will grow and you put the person at risk for botulism (which you can die from!!) Other people say its if you seal it right away when its still hot or let it cool before sealing. I was about to send this but now Im unsure. Even though plenty of people have said theyve done it, Im not sure if its safe. Any thoughts? Thank you.
