FQ: Hi Im 17 weeks 4 days pregnant. I have a small dog, mixed poodle terrier. She weighs about 8 pounds and is so so so loving. Ive only ever seen her show her teeth/nip if another dog is playing or attacking her (my aunts dog doesnt like her and sometimes she tries to play :\ ) but what Im wondering is how other moms think she will be with the baby? She is two, and every person that she meets she is on them and loving and licking them like crazy! Very playful baby girl :) Im just scared and hear horror stories about dogs attacking babies because they get jealous, etc. is there anything I could do to adjust her to the change of focus from her to a baby? I dont want to have to get rid of her :( I also tried carrying around a baby doll to see how she reacted, but she just drug it off cause she thought it was her toy.
