FQ I have a question, and sorry its a bit long... I have been with my SO for over 4 years now, he has a son with his ex, and has visits with him and everything which I love,my SO is raising my son with me for the past 4 years, but me an my son were never aloud to go because of his ex making up a bunch of stuff in court my SO had to do supervised visits and still does but with his Dad which is so much better then what he was getting before, anyways they recently had court and me and my son are finally aloud to go, so my SO talked o his ex about on his next visit taking us with him, which she had no choice but agreed nicely but she told him that maybe she should ask his son if he wants to meet us, which I think is a valid point he is old enough and this is his time with Dad so he has a right to be asked, my SO isnt worried cause our boys are the same age and they are both very loving out going people, and my son is always asking to see his little brother, so I asked if his son even knew about us, come to find out he doesnt at all, my SO has never once mentioned me our my son to his son in the past 4 years.... well I feel hurt, I feel like he never thought we would be around to see his son or something, like I didnt accept him, I have said over and over again I can not wait to be part of his life, I buy him Christmas and birthday and Easter gifts and I am the one always mentioning taking pictures or doing fun stuff with him and everything I already count him as part of our family even if I dont see him, I just feel like he never believed me when I said I am always there for his son as well, and I just want o know do I have a right to feel hurt about this? or am I just over thinking it?
