FQ: I need help badly. This is my first child and he was born via csection 6wks early. I was told my milk would take 4-5days to come in bc of having a csection. He was taken immediately to nicu and I was given a breast pump. I havent been able to produce anything more then 5ml at a time. Ive eaten oatmeal, additional calories, no caffeine, plenty of water, even started drinking milk (even though it makes my stomach turn), taken fenugreek for two weeks 3xs a day, warm compresses, hot showers, massages. He latches on but after 5mins he starts crying bc I get no where for him so hes formula fed. I have inverted/flat nipples and feared this issue would happen. I want to breastfeed so badly even if its just given to him by bottle I dont care but he needs my milk. His pediatrician has changed his formula due to constipation and now his new one that hes been on about two weeks makes him spit up every feeding and he ends up choking so I have to suction it out and im left with a crying upset baby. Over the last two days Ive pumped every 3/4hrs and produced nothing or at most 3/4drops and nothing from my left breast and it aches badly. I dont feel like there is any milk in them and my breasts have actually gotten smaller since I had him. What can I do? Please help! RP Kimmy
