FQ: My husband and our 2 kids recently moved into a new house, our oldest is 2 youngest is 1. Over the past few weeks I have experienced some interesting things happening with my children. Normal, happy quiet day, son was napping and my daughter came out of her bedroom after starting to cry, when I asked what was wrong she told me The bad man pulled my hair... and pointed to her room. A few days after that happened, I was sitting at my kitchen table with both children in sight playing in the living room floor when my son glanced up at my daughters bedroom door way, looked back at me and began hysterically crying to the point where I could not calm him down no matter what I did. Fast forward a bit, yesterday my husband and I witnessed our daughter screaming Emma where are you?! at her closet doors. My husband went in and asked her why she was yelling at her closet, she repeated over and over Emma, Emma, Emma. He then asked her, who the bad man was and if he hid in her closet. She replied with no. Then he asked her if the bad man was under the bed. She responded to that with No, I hide there. Anyway, question time. Has anyone else ever experienced anything like this with their children? Ive read articles on Buzzfeed about the strange things kids say to their parents..but Im curious as to if Im alone on this? Any shared stories or advice would be great. Thanks.
